General Guidelines 

Apex Magnets can provide many sizes and shapes within certain parameters.

Disc and Rectangular magnets can be produced with a maximum of 6 inches (153mm) in any single dimension (Length, Width, Height). Ring magnets up to maximum of 4 inches (102mm).

In some cases, larger lengths may be created by bonding smaller lengths together. Be aware, this may affect physical and magnetic properties, altering  suitability to client's needs.

Production lead time is typically 6-8 weeks for magnets with all dimensions under 2.5 inches - up to 12 weeks for larger magnets.

Minimum orders are $500 to $1000 USD, depending on quantity and difficulty. Minimum piece quantities may apply.

Custom magnets may be subject to a one-time tooling fee. Fees are more likely for custom magnets larger then 2 inches, complex shapes, or housings.

Custom orders cannot be expedited.

Neodymium and Samarium Cobalt magnets are hard, brittle materials. Shapes  easy to manufacture in steel or aluminum may not be feasible with rare earth magnetic material. Complex shapes or shapes with thin cross sections may not be possible.
